What is The Horse Within Workshop?
This workshop offers an opportunity to connect mind, body,
spirit, and nature, by way of the inspiring magnificence of
horses.
Images, patterns, and metaphors are evoked through interactive
activities with live horses that facilitate insight and a better
understanding of self. This workshop experience will influence
all relationships including those with co-workers, supervisors,
friends, children, spouses, and family members. Set in beautiful and natural surroundings, participants
will engage with horses and enjoy supportive group discussions
while being encouraged to learn about themselves by accessing
their own “horse within.” Join us for a day of self-exploration,
personal growth, and self-discovery, through interactive and fun
activities with horses. Why horses? Horses are live, dynamic, and impressive creatures that influence people in powerful ways. Working with them arouses a sense of awe and can provide rich metaphors applicable to all areas of life. Many people are drawn to horses but never have the opportunity to work with them first hand. In this workshop participants will gain a better understanding of themselves through hands-on experiences designed to help access an inner world inspired by horses. |

No horse experience needed! All activities are un-mounted. No horsemanship experience is required. There will be no riding. Those unfamiliar with, afraid of, or inspired by horses are encouraged to attend.
Directions to the Workshops:
Last Dance Ranch Directions - From the center of Okeechobee go west on route 70. Turn right (north) on route 98/718/700. Travel approximately 16 miles and then turn left on 144th Trail. Go approximately 5 miles. Just after the road turns from pavement to dirt take the first dirt driveway on the left into Last Dance Ranch. Follow the black fence line and turn left into the gate at the end. Drive past the stables and main house all the way through the trees to the back of the property.
Le Master Stables @ Acme Ranches The entrance into Acme Ranches is located at the northwest corner of the Lowes parking lot. Directions - From 95 or the FL Turnpike, exit at Southern Boulevard and go west. Exit at Route 441/State Road 7. At the end of the exit ramp go left (south) under the overpass. Take the first right into the Office Depot/Lowes shopping center. Proceed ahead to the north west corner to the entrance of Acme Ranches. The paved road will turn to dirt. Look for white fencing on the left and turn into the dirt driveway to Le Master Stables.
